Al-dhale’: A project to distribute food baskets was launched in Al-Dhale’ Governorate. The initiative is provided by the Yemen Development Foundation in coordination with the local authority and the Mobilization Office. The project aims to distribute 2,500 food baskets to the poorest and most needy families across the governorate’s districts, as part of humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of impoverished and vulnerable households.
According to Yemen News Agency, at the launch, Acting Governor Abdul Latif Al-Shaghadri emphasized that these relief interventions will help improve the living conditions of poor and needy families and reduce their hardships. He also highlighted the humanitarian and relief efforts of the Yemen Development Foundation in providing support to needy families, stressing the importance of continuing such projects that embody the spirit of social solidarity, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the governorate’s Mobilization Officer, Ahmed Al-Marani, pointed out the importance of ensuring that aid reaches those who truly deserve it, contributing to the reinforcement of social solidarity, fostering a culture of volunteerism and humanitarian initiatives.
