Sanaa: The Southern Movement component participating in the National Dialogue Conference and signatory to the Peace and Partnership Agreement expressed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the leadership and people of Iran on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyid Ali Khamenei.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Southern Movement, in a statement, affirmed that Sayyid Ali Khamenei was martyred along with a constellation of the finest mujahideen leaders, leaving behind an enduring legacy in the hearts of the nation’s free people through their courageous stances and profound faith in the vital causes of their nation. They have become exemplary figures of patience and resistance.
The statement reiterated its condemnation of the treacherous, criminal, terrorist, and American-Zionist aggression, which constitutes a violation of international law and a blatant interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign state, threatening to destabilize the region and the world.
It also declared its support for the position of the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and its readiness for the demands of the battle.
The Southern Movement called upon the sons of the Arab and Islamic nation to close ranks, unify their voices, and work diligently to liberate the occupied land and restore usurped rights.
