Sana'a: Free surgical medical camps have been launched at 22 May Hospital - Dula'a, Hamdan Hospital, Martyr Mohammed al-Durra Hospital - Jahana, and Bani Mansour Emergency Hospital in Sana'a governorate, as part of the Charity and Benevolence Program implemented by the local health sector in conjunction with the Prophet's Birthday anniversary.
According to Yemen News Agency, the camps, running until the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal, are providing free medical and surgical services in ear, nose, and throat (ENT) procedures, including nasal septum correction and removal of nasal polyps.
General surgeries include treatment of all types of hernias, gallbladder and appendix removal, excision of cysts and subcutaneous glands, hemorrhoid surgery, and cleft lip repair.
In urology, operations are being performed for urinary tract stones (via surgery and endoscopy), varicocele, hydrocele, undescended testis, and urinary tract tumors.
Hospital directors Dr. Adnan al-Sharaabi (22 May), Dr. Talal al-Jabri (Martyr al-Durra), and Dr. Badr al-Darwani (Bani Mansour Emergency) said teams of specialized physicians and surgeons are examining patients and conducting operations with modern equipment and highly qualified nursing staff.
They praised the support of the Ministry of Health, governorate authorities, and the Health Office, stressing their commitment to alleviating citizens' suffering by facilitating access to essential medical services as a religious, ethical, and humanitarian duty.
