Agricultural Sector and Project Financing Unit Celebrate Prophet’s Birthday in Hajjah

Hajjah: The agricultural sector in Hajjah, in collaboration with the Agricultural and Fisheries Project Financing Unit and the Field Unit in the governorate, hosted a cultural event on Tuesday to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. The event was graced by the presence of Ismail al-Muhaim, Secretary-General of the Local Council in the governorate, alongside Education Sector official Ali al-Qutayb.

According to Yemen News Agency, Engineer Hassan Hazzazi, Director of the Agricultural Sector in the governorate, spoke at the gathering, emphasizing the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday as a way to strengthen the connection with the Messenger of God. He highlighted the high regard that Prophet Muhammad had for the Yemeni people, acknowledging their love, devotion, and historic role in supporting Islam. Hazzazi also underscored the importance of this religious occasion as an opportunity to emulate the Prophet's example in confronting tyranny and supporting the oppressed.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Miyah, Dean of the Branch of the University of Qur'anic Sciences, recounted episodes from the life of the Prophet, focusing on his noble attributes, courage, and steadfast defense of the oppressed. Miyah affirmed that commemorating the Prophet's birth offers a vital opportunity to draw lessons from his courage, resistance to injustice, and exemplary life, urging broad participation in the central events marking the occasion.
