Al-mahwit: The Governor of Al-Mahwit, Haneen Qutina, and the province's Mobilization Officer, Ismail Sharaf Al-Din, inaugurated the General Secondary School examinations for the year 1447 AH. They assessed the level of discipline and progress of exams at various centers, including Abu Nashwan and Al-Zahra Girls' Centers in Shibam Kawkaban District, and at 26 September and Balqis Beit Qutina Centers in Al-Tawila District. Additionally, they received briefings from center officials on measures taken to ensure exams are conducted according to regulations set by the Higher Examinations Committee.
According to Yemen News Agency, Qutina and Sharaf Al-Din praised the adherence to examination rules, the well-organized arrangements, and the supervision of the General Secondary School exams. They acknowledged the efforts of the province's education sector in preparing and equipping for the exams and urged all relevant parties to cooperate with the subcommittees to provide a safe and suitable environment for students.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Education Sector in Al-Mahwit, Ibrahim Al-Zein, stated that the total number of students taking the general secondary exams in both scientific and literary streams reached 6,086, distributed across 93 examination centers in various districts of the province. He noted that 832 educational staff members are overseeing the exams at the district level, ensuring that the examination process proceeds in an organized and secure manner.
