Amran: The Governor of Amran, Dr. Faisal Jum'aan, alongside Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Adel Hajar, inaugurated the General Secondary School Examinations for the 1447 AH academic year. The event marked a significant step in the academic calendar and highlighted the dedication of educational authorities in the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, Jum'aan and Hajar were joined by Governorate's Mobilization Officer Sajjad Hamza, Education Sector Official Abdulrahman Al-'Imad, Director of the Youth Office Abdullah Al-Wada'i, and Technical and Vocational Training Sector Officer Amin Al-Daidi. They visited the Shahada Model Education Complex and Al-Hussein Educational Complex to assess the examination process. The officials expressed their appreciation for the educators and field committees, underscoring the importance of their role in ensuring the success of the examinations, which they described as a national duty requiring collective effort.
Education Sector Official Al-'Imad reported that a total of 11,715 students are registered for the examinations. These students are distributed across 83 examination centers located in the governorate's capital and surrounding districts. He acknowledged the perseverance of the educational staff and teachers, who have continued to fulfill their responsibilities and maintain the educational process up to the final exams, despite the challenging circumstances facing the country.
