Sana'a: The Taiz Governorate office of the General Authority for Zakat launched a project today to distribute 20,000 food baskets to eligible families in the liberated areas of the West Coast districts, at a total cost of 400 million Riyals.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project targets eligible families in the liberated areas of the West Coast districts in Taiz Governorate-specifically Al-Mukha, Dhubab, Al-Wazi'iyah, Mawza, and Maqbanah-as well as liberated areas in Al-Ma'afir District (Al-Kadha) and Jabal Habashi District (Al-Shurajah). This initiative is part of the Zakat Authority office's efforts to expand the scope of its projects and ensure aid reaches those entitled to it, in implementation of directives from the President of the Supreme Political Council and under the supervision of the Head of the General Authority for Zakat, the Acting Governor of Taiz, and the governorate's mobilization official.
