Hajjah: Secretary-General of the Local Council in Hajjah Province, Ismail Al-Muheim, along with Deputy Governors Nabil Al-Jarb, Ahmed Al-Akhfash, and Adel Shali, inaugurated the 1448 AH academic year on Saturday. During the launch event in the provincial center, the officials, accompanied by Provincial Education Sector Official Ali Al-Qatib and District Director Issam Al-Wazzan, reviewed student attendance levels at Umm Al-Mu'minin Khadijah School, Martyr Al-Sammad School, Martyr Taha Al-Madani School for Outstanding Students, and the Al-Thawra Educational Complex.
According to Yemen News Agency, they praised the strong turnout and students' determination to pursue education despite the challenges posed by the aggression and blockade on Yemen. The officials highlighted the hopes placed on the younger generation to lead the country's future across development, service, military, and security sectors, urging students to make the most of the academic year and strive for academic excellence.
For his part, Education Sector Official Ali Al-Qatib and his deputy, Jamal Al-Ghashimi, described the launch of the new academic year under the current circumstances as a new victory over attempts to disrupt the education process. They noted that 1,300 schools across the provincial center and districts are welcoming around 400,000 students in the basic and secondary education stages, commending the efforts of educational staff in ensuring the success of the learning process.
