Al-jawf: A tribal reconciliation in Al-Jawf Governorate today successfully concluded a long-standing murder case involving the Al-Jabali and Al-Awbathi families, which originated 30 years ago. The reconciliation was spearheaded by the Governor of Al-Jawf, Faisal bin Haidar, alongside Mobilization Officer Jarallah Shamma, Director of Al-Matammah District Mabrouk Al-Khawar, and several tribal sheikhs and social figures.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the reconciliation event, the heirs of the victim, Hassan Mohammed Al-Jabali, declared their forgiveness towards the perpetrators from the Al-Awbathi family. This act of pardon was made in the name of God, in honor of those present, and in response to a call for reconciliation by the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
Governor bin Haidar and the attending sheikhs expressed their admiration for the Al-Jabali family's decision to forgive, viewing it as a significant step towards unity and the rejection of violence. They acknowledged the contributions of all individuals involved in mediating between the two families to resolve the case permanently.
