Marib: The governor of Marib, Ali Tuaiman, officially launched the “Purify My House” campaign on Saturday as part of preparations for the Holy Month of Ramadan. During the inauguration, the governor stressed the importance of such initiatives in maintaining houses of worship and promoting community cooperation and responsibility.
According to Yemen News Agency, the governor highlighted that the cleanliness and upkeep of mosques are indicative of the social awareness and community care for these sacred spaces. Mare’i al-Amiri, Director of the Sirwah District, elaborated that the campaign is part of a wider effort to reinforce faith-based values. He encouraged citizens to actively participate in the service and maintenance of mosques, referring to them as “beacons of worship.”
