Sana'a: The Republic Championship for elite gymnasts from various governorates, covering categories such as juniors, youth, and seniors, is set to commence tomorrow in Sana'a. This championship is organized by the General Federation of the Sport with oversight from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and is supported by the Youth Care Fund.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event will be held at the Martyr Hassan Zaid Hall over the course of five days. It will feature 52 athletes representing the Capital Secretariat, as well as the governorates of Aden, Hodeidah, Amran, Dhamar, and Ibb, in addition to competitors from the Olympic Club.
Participants will compete in both individual all-around and team formats, engaging in events across five gymnastics apparatuses. These apparatuses include floor exercise, vault, parallel bars, pommel horse, and still rings.
