Taiz:The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit has initiated the opening, grading, and widening of a road that links the Al-Ayyar area in Al-Akhlood sub-district with Al-Yaman sub-district in Maqbanah District, Taiz Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the 26.2-kilometer project aims to address urgent infrastructure needs in liberated areas, enhancing access for local communities and improving living conditions. The inauguration was attended by several officials, including Eng. Badr Al-Din Al-Tayyar, Eng. Bakeel Mohammad, Hussam Al-Fatesh, Abdulrahman Sinan, and Abdulbaqi Al-Wazir.
The project is significant for seven sub-districts within Maqbanah District, as it improves connectivity, reduces transportation challenges, and facilitates access to essential services. It is part of a broader plan, with a second phase set to extend benefits to additional areas and districts, further enhancing regional connectivity and service delivery.
