Sanaa: The branch of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in Al-Mahwit Governorate launched a project to distribute school bags and educational supplies to the children of martyrs and missing persons across all districts of the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Governorate Deputy Ali Sharaf Al-Din, Director of the Youth and Sports Office Ibrahim Sharaf, Director of Al-Madina District Ibrahim Al-Nasser, Educational Administration Official Mohammed Al-Qilabi, and the Martyrs' Affairs Representative in Al-Madina District Jaber Al-Shaathmi. The mobilization official in Al-Mahwit, Ismail Sharaf Al-Din, emphasized that this initiative is part of the educational care projects implemented by the Authority to support the education sector and alleviate the burden on the families of martyrs.
Ismail Sharaf Al-Din commended the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families for its efforts in carrying out programs and projects that aim to provide comprehensive care to the families of martyrs, with a particular focus on educational initiatives.
Abdul Quddus Al-Hakim, the Director of the Authority's branch in the governorate, highlighted that the project aims to distribute 504 fully equipped school bags. These bags contain various school supplies and materials for students in both basic and secondary education across all districts of the governorate.
He further noted that the project reflects the Authority's commitment to addressing the educational needs of the children of martyrs and missing persons. This effort is coordinated with the Ministry of Education and seeks to provide the necessary school requirements, encourage continued education, and enhance academic achievement for these students.
