Launch of Strategic Development Plan Preparation Program (1448-1450 AH) in Ibb

Sana'a: Ibb Governorate launched today the program for preparing the three-year integrated participatory strategic development plan (1448 AH - 1450 AH) and the executive plan for the year 1448 AH, within the framework of the state's orientations to enhance institutional building and sustainable local development at the governorate and directorate levels.

According to Yemen News Agency, Ibb Governor Abdulwahid Salah emphasized that launching this time-bound program represents a heavy responsibility and a pivotal step within the strategic transformations that the "Government of Change and Building" seeks to achieve. He indicated that these plans are fundamentally based on the directives of the Leader Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, which place the agricultural orientation, economic empowerment, advancement of local communities, and transformation of families into an effective and productive element at the forefront of priorities.

Governor Salah stressed the necessity of completing institutional building, training, and qualifying cadres for cooperative societies to enable them to lead the upcoming development stage and precision in preparing development reports as the fundamental pillar for proper planning. He also emphasized utilizing the time-bound program supported by the Ministry to transform strategic visions into a tangible reality that serves citizens and will be achieved through concerted efforts toward self-sufficiency.

For his part, Public Mobilization Official Abdul-Fattah Ghalab called for the necessity of concerted official and community efforts in this sensitive stage, pointing out that the priorities of the current stage focus on achieving self-sufficiency and efficiently developing and investing available local resources.
