Launch of Summer Activities and Ramadan Competition Awards in Manzar City

Manzar city: Summer activities and courses for the year 1447 AH were launched on Monday in Manzar City, Al Hawak District, Al Hodeidah Governorate, alongside the distribution of awards for the annual Ramadan cultural competition.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Governor Mohammed Hulaisi praised the strong turnout and community awareness regarding the importance of summer courses in protecting youth from misleading ideas and equipping them with beneficial knowledge and sciences. He emphasized that these activities serve as a fundamental pillar in building a generation armed with knowledge and a strong faith-based identity. He also commended the efforts made by the executive committee and supporters in ensuring the success of these courses and encouraging students to benefit from them.

Speeches delivered at the event affirmed that the continuation of the competition for more than a decade reflects a deep connection to religious and cultural values. They praised the leading role played by the cooperative sector and social figures in supporting the cultural and educational front in the governorate.

The event, attended by the Director of Tribal Affairs in the governorate, Ibrahim Shara'i, and the Chairman of Al Hawak Multi-Purpose Cooperative Association, Jameel Al-Sayyid, included the distribution of awards for the 13th annual Ramadan cultural competition. The competition was sponsored and supported by Sheikh Mohammed Saad Al-Almani.
