Sana'a: The Ibb branch of the Rural Water Projects Authority inaugurated today the rehabilitation of the Al-Dar Water Project in Al-Naqileen sub-district, Al-Sayani District. The project, which will benefit 2,000 residents, includes the installation of a solar power system at a cost of $19,000, funded by UNICEF.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the inauguration, attended by Al-Sayani District Director Mohammed Al-Nou'a and UNICEF representative Engineer Abdullah Al-Athouri, Deputy Director of the Rural Water Authority branch in Ibb, Engineer Sadiq Qamaz, emphasized the importance of implementing rural water projects to provide clean drinking water and reduce the cost of access for residents.
He affirmed the Authority's commitment to carrying out more water projects in coordination with partners to meet the needs of remote areas, especially under the ongoing aggression and blockade. Engineer Qamaz also praised UNICEF's efforts in funding several projects across the governorate to provide essential services to citizens.
