Sana'a: The local authority and the Mobilization Office in Bura District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, today launched activities to commemorate the Prophet's Birthday for the year 1447 AH under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event, attended by the district director, emphasized that commemorating the occasion is a renewed spiritual milestone in which the nation reaffirms its loyalty to the Prophet and adherence to his message, which brought humanity from darkness into light. They highlighted that the people of Bura have consistently been at the forefront of celebrating this significant occasion annually with enthusiasm befitting the status of the Seal of the Prophets. This year will feature more diverse and participatory activities, reflecting a deep connection to the faith-based identity.
The speakers elaborated that this popular movement arises amid global challenges and campaigns aimed at distorting Islam, underscoring the need for a sincere return to the authentic Muhammadan path. They affirmed that the Prophet's eternal message is the nation's path to liberation from domination and tyranny. Furthermore, they stressed the importance of active participation in the celebrations to embody societal cohesion in the face of cultural and intellectual invasion and to reaffirm the people's steadfastness on the values and principles brought by Prophet Muhammad.
The event was graced by local leaders, community figures, scholars, and a large gathering of citizens.
