Lahj: Seismic monitoring stations recorded a light earthquake measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale northeast of Lahj Governorate at 7:27 p.m. on Tuesday. Mohammed Al-Houthi, head of the center, confirmed the occurrence of the tremor.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Houthi stated that the tremor was part of the light seismic activity that occurs intermittently across Yemen. He emphasized that specialists are continuously monitoring seismic activity throughout the country around the clock to prepare for any emergencies.
