Local Authority and Yemeni Scholars Association Mourn Renowned Scholar Al-Nu’ami

Hajjah: The local authority, the mobilization committee, the Yemeni Scholars Association, and the office of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance in Hajjah Governorate have announced the passing of the esteemed scholar Muhammad Ahmad al-Hussein al-Nu'ami, who died at the age of 73.

According to Yemen News Agency, a statement of condolence praised the virtues of the deceased scholar, highlighting his significant contributions to the teaching of Islamic sciences and Quranic studies. Al-Nu'ami was also recognized for his efforts in promoting religious guidance and awareness, particularly in confronting deviant ideologies.

The statement further emphasized al-Nu'ami's dedication to defending the homeland against aggression. His actions included mobilization and recruitment for fields of honor, dignity, and pride, alongside providing financial support to the fronts and rejecting all forms of subservience and guardianship.

It was noted that the districts of Sharfayn and the broader governorate have suffered a great loss with the passing of al-Nu'ami, who was regarded as one of the most prominent scholars of the Kuhlan al-Sharaf district.

The statement extended sincere condolences and sympathy to the children of the deceased, his relatives, and the entire Al-Naami family. It expressed a hope for God's mercy upon him, asking for him to be granted a place in Paradise and for his family and relatives to be inspired with patience and solace.
