Al-hodeida: The local authority in Al-Hodeida Governorate has strongly condemned the shelling of a civilian family home by Saudi enemy mercenaries in the rural area of Al-Jarahi District. This attack resulted in the martyrdom of an elderly man and his daughter, and left his wife and a relative with serious injuries.
According to Yemen News Agency, the local authority released a statement highlighting that the direct targeting of 60-year-old Abdullah Mohammed Khalouf's home, leading to his and his daughter's martyrdom and the serious injury of his wife and a relative, underscores the persistent targeting of civilians by Saudi enemy mercenaries. The statement stressed that this attack demonstrates a blatant disregard for civilian lives and the sanctity of homes and civilian structures.
The local authority further detailed that the shelling impacted the family's property, resulting in the death of livestock and damage to their belongings, labeling this act as a flagrant violation of humanitarian laws and norms. The authority placed full responsibility on the Saudi regime for the crime and its consequences, including the casualties and material damage, stating that this crime is part of a broader enemy strategy to expand targeting and threaten the lives and property of civilians.
The statement warned the mercenaries about the consequences of these violations, which align with the agendas of the Saudi enemy, and urged those misled into joining such ranks to reconsider their positions and heed calls to return to the national ranks.
