Local Authority in Al-Jawf Hands Over Sites for Three Agricultural Roads

Al-jawf: The local authority in Al-Jawf Governorate has handed over the sites for three agricultural road projects in the districts of As-Sayl, Al-Masloub, and Al-Matun, with a total length of 20.3 kilometers, to the implementing parties.

According to Yemen News Agency, these projects are funded by the local authority through the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Funding Unit in the governorate, the Emergency Central Developmental Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development, and with community participation. The goal is to improve infrastructure and ease the hardships of citizens by facilitating transportation and the delivery of agricultural produce to markets.

The local authority also reported that six additional agricultural roads are currently in the planning and approval process for implementation. The authority emphasized the vital role of district directors in mobilizing community efforts to support these projects.

These road projects are considered a top priority due to their significant role in serving the local population and enhancing the agricultural sector in Al-Jawf Governorate.
