Mahweet Branch Plans Annual Martyr Commemoration

Mahweet: A meeting was held on Wednesday at the Mahweet branch of the Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families to discuss the plan for commemorating the Annual Martyr Day for the year 1447 AH. The gathering focused on organizing the commemoration to honor the martyrs and highlight the significance of their sacrifices.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by key figures, including the governorate's Mobilization Officer Ismail Sharaf al-Din, Chief of Security Abdullah al-Tawous, the branch director of the Authority Abdulqadus al-Hakim, directors of departments, and representatives from district branches. Participants described the annual martyr commemoration as a moment of loyalty and recognition for the martyrs' sacrifices. They emphasized the authority's commitment to supporting and caring for martyrs' families in all fields.

Sharaf al-Din highlighted the importance of concerted efforts to ensure the success of the commemoration events. He stressed the rapid formation of committees at the district, sub-district, and village levels, in coordination with local authorities and mobilization offices, to organize the activities and convey the significance of the occasion to every household and community.

The branch director of the Authority stressed the need to complete the remaining field survey work, verification, and updating of martyrs' family records, including civilian martyrs and those still registered in the comprehensive database.
