Mahweet: A commemorative event was held on Sunday by the General Authority for Zakat, the General Authority for Martyrs' Families, and the Social Welfare Division in Mahweet province to mark the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's life and promoting values of faith, compassion, cooperation, and community service. They highlighted the need for these values to be reflected in daily life and encouraged community members to embody these principles.
The event also included calls for greater public participation in the central celebration scheduled for 12 Rabi' al-Awwal, urging the community to engage actively and honor the significance of the occasion. The organizers hope that these efforts will strengthen community bonds and inspire actions aligned with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad.
