Mahweet: Residents of Malahan district in Mahweet governorate dispatched an Eid aid convoy on Sunday in support of fighters stationed on the Western Coast front, Maqbanah front in Taiz governorate, and Haradh front in Hajjah governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the convoy included livestock, honey, food supplies, and various in-kind donations as part of popular efforts to strengthen solidarity and support for frontline fighters during the Eid al-Adha holiday. During the dispatch ceremony, Member of Parliament Mohammed Bakther praised everyone who contributed to preparing and organizing the convoy, describing it as the least that could be offered to those sacrificing their lives in defense of the nation's autonomy, security, and stability.
He emphasized that such popular convoys reflect the high level of national awareness and responsibility among community members and demonstrate steadfast support for fighters across various fronts. He added that this convoy would not be the last and that more supportive convoys would follow.
District Director Ghamdan al-Ezki, along with mobility officials and social figures, described the convoy as a message of loyalty and appreciation to the fighters stationed at what they called the 'fronts of pride and dignity.' They affirmed that the people of Malahan district would continue contributing to efforts of support and giving, calling for sustained backing of the fronts to reinforce resilience, preparedness, and morale among frontline fighters.
The convoy dispatch was attended by the district mobilization official Abdullah al-Rawdah, District Security Director Colonel Salah al-Qairi, and a number of local citizens.
