Sanaa: The administration of the Central Correctional Facility in the Capital Sanaa organized a concluding ceremony for the summer courses and activities, honoring top distinguished students among the inmates and teachers, under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad" for the year 1447H.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony was attended by key figures including the Deputy Head of the Rehabilitation and Correction Authority at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Brigadier Mohammed Al Farran, and the Director of the Central Correctional Facility in the Capital Secretariat, Brigadier Ali Abu Khalaa. Abu Khalaa affirmed the continuation of organizing scientific, educational, and cultural activities and programs for inmates, aiming to rehabilitate them to confront misguided ideas and cultures after their release.
He emphasized the role of the courses in equipping inmates with scientific and creative skills, enabling them to face challenges and contribute to building a secure and stable nation. Abu Khalaa credited the success of the summer courses to the efforts of teachers and those managing the summer centers, highlighting the creative output and contributions of the inmate students, which reflect a generation equipped with knowledge and understanding, closely linked to the Holy Quran and the Quranic renaissance project.
Ahmed Al Jaki, the Deputy Director of the Office of the Head of the Authority, underscored the success of the summer courses in enhancing awareness among inmates and building minds enlightened by divine guidance and the principles of the true religion. He noted the leadership's commitment to holding summer courses in all central correctional facilities and pretrial detention centers to properly prepare and rehabilitate inmates according to the Quranic curriculum.
The ceremony featured chanted and poetic segments showcasing the benefits derived from the activities, programs, and the scientific, educational, cultural, and creative achievements. Top students among the inmates and teachers were honored with certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts.
