Marib: Marib province has commenced a comprehensive cleaning campaign under the theme “Welcome Ramadan,” aimed at preparing the region for the upcoming holy month. The initiative is being spearheaded by the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in the province.
According to Yemen News Agency, governorate undersecretaries Daris al-Muawadhi and Nasser al-Shandaqqi, who were present at the campaign’s launch in Serwah district, highlighted the importance of cleanliness as a reflection of faith. They also expressed their appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the cleaning workers involved in the initiative.
Serwah district director Marai al-Amiri underscored the need to elevate community awareness regarding the significance of maintaining cleanliness. He encouraged residents to adopt proper waste disposal practices to ensure the tidiness of markets and streets, thereby contributing to a cleaner and more welcoming environment for Ramadan.
