According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the protest prominently displayed copies of the Holy Quran, asserting their deep respect and commitment to the sacred text and holy sites of Islam. The protestors also expressed their outrage over the repeated insults against the Quran and Islamic sites, highlighting a recent incident where an American, Jake Lang, burned a copy of the Quran in Michigan.
The demonstrators voiced their opposition to any efforts undermining fundamental Islamic principles and sacred sites, condemning the acts as a severe provocation against Muslims worldwide. They stressed the necessity of accountability for these actions, emphasizing their readiness to support the revolution led by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and their commitment to the Palestinian cause.
A statement read by the Director of Media and Awareness, Najm al-Din Idris, condemned the continuous insults against the Quran and the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling for boycotts of American and Israeli products and large-scale protests across the Arab and Islamic world. The statement highlighted the deep-rooted enmity from the perpetrators and praised Hezbollah's strong stance against aggression, supporting Iran's right to defend against unjust actions by America and Israel.
