Sana'a:A photo exhibition honoring martyrs from the Sanhan and Bani Bahlul districts in Sana'a province opened on Tuesday as part of the 1448 AH Annual Martyrs' Anniversary events. The exhibition showcases photographs of local martyrs and Resistance Axis martyrs, models of locally manufactured weapons, and displays depicting battles fought by the armed forces, as well as alleged crimes committed by the Saudi enemy against the Yemeni people over more than 12 years.
According to Yemen News Agency, Prosecutor General Judge Abdul Salam Al-Houthi and Deputy Minister of Local and Rural Administration and Development Nasser Al-Mahdhar emphasized the importance of commemorating the anniversary to honor sacrifice, strengthen resilience, and support the causes of the nation.
Local officials stated that the exhibition recognizes the martyrs' sacrifices, promotes the values of steadfastness, and introduces younger generations to their contributions. They stressed that caring for martyrs' families and easing their hardships is considered a religious, national, and moral responsibility. District Director Ahmed Othman highlighted that honoring martyrs should extend beyond annual exhibitions to include supporting their families and caring for their children.
The opening was attended by provincial officials, security leaders, executive office directors, and social figures. Following the opening, participants visited the tomb of Abu Salah Al-Quwairi in Dar Salam, where they recited Al-Fatiha and Al-Ikhlas in tribute to the martyrs.
