Taiz:The Ministry of Health and Environment has issued a strong condemnation following the targeting of Ma'shar Health Center in the Hayfan District of Taiz Governorate. The attack, attributed to Saudi enemy mobilizations, resulted in severe damage to the facility.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry denounced the deliberate targeting of the center with a mortar shell, labeling it a blatant violation of international laws and conventions that protect health facilities and personnel.
The Ministry held the Saudi enemy and its mercenaries fully accountable for the attack, emphasizing that such actions constitute a direct assault on civilians and infringe on their right to access essential health services. This incident, they noted, is part of a broader pattern of violations and crimes by the Saudi enemy, particularly against civilian infrastructure, with the health sector being a primary target.
The Ministry called on the United Nations, international and humanitarian organizations, and human rights bodies to denounce this crime and to take a firm stance against ongoing violations targeting health facilities and civilians. They urged these bodies to work towards holding the perpetrators accountable under international humanitarian law.
