Mass Demonstrations in Al-Bayda in Support of Holy Qur’an & in Solidarity with Lebanon

Al-bayda: The districts of Al-Bayda Governorate witnessed on Monday mass popular marches in support of the Holy Qur’an and affirming the stance against the enemies of the nation, under the slogan: ‘In Support of the Qur’an and Al-Aqsa. in Solidarity with Lebanon, and an Affirmation of Readiness.’

According to Yemen News Agency, the participants in the marches, which were led by Shura Council member Abdullah Al-Muthaffari, along with the governorate’s deputies Ali Sheikh, Abdullah Al-Jamal, Mohammed Al-Hamqani, Saleh Al-Joufi, Ahmed Al-Sayqal, and local, military, and security leaders as well as social figures, raised copies of the Holy Qur’an along with the flags of Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon. They chanted slogans of ‘jihad,’ general mobilization, and disavowal of enemies.

The participants also raised slogans condemning the burning of the Holy Qur’an and the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that such practices constitute a blatant attack on the faith of the Islamic nation and an incitement against the feelings of Muslims worldwide, requiring firm and deterrent responses against those responsible.

The people of Al-Bayda affirmed that their participation in these mass marches stems from deep faith in Allah Almighty, reliance upon Him, and a sense of religious, humanitarian, and moral responsibility, as well as a form of striving in the path of Allah and seeking His pleasure. They emphasized their commitment-before Allah and the nation-to unify religious discourse regarding the sanctity and greatness of the Qur’an and to reject any normalization with the Israeli enemy or collaboration with the American enemy.

They renewed their affirmation of adherence to the steadfast position of the Yemeni people in confronting the plans of the Israeli enemy known as the ‘Greater Israel’ project, and in supporting the causes of the nation and its sanctities, foremost among them the Palestinian cause and Lebanon, as well as solidarity with the Lebanese resistance and its fighters in Hizbullah.

In a statement issued by the Al-Bayda marches, it was stated that the turnout is an act of devotion to Allah, support for the blessed Palestine cause, affirmation of support for the oppressed Palestinian people, those held in Israeli prisons, solidarity with Lebanon and its fighters, as well as readiness to respond to any developments or escalation by the United States and Israel targeting the region.

The statement condemned repeated insults by ‘enemies of Allah’ from Americans and Zionists against the Holy Qur’an, as well as the ongoing desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, affirming that such actions will not be met with silence amid continued aggression and hostile campaigns.

It called on Muslims and the peoples of the nation to actively engage in defending their faith, intensify boycott campaigns, and confront what it described as hostile schemes against Islam and Muslims.

It reaffirmed a firm religious and moral stance in support of the people of Gaza, the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and all of historic Palestine, as well as continued support for detainees in Israeli prisons until their freedom is achieved, and full solidarity with the fighters of Hizbullah in Lebanon.

The statement also emphasized full readiness to face any new developments or escalation that the United States and Israel may undertake in the region, warning of renewed aggressive campaigns following previous failures in the region, under the slogan of reshaping the Middle East and establishing ‘Greater Israel.’

It noted that the Yemeni people, with their faith-based identity, remain present on the field of struggle, steadfast in their supportive positions for the Qur’an, the Prophet, and Islam, continuing the legacy of their ancestors, and that they will not retreat in the face of what it described as hostile US-Israeli campaigns against Islam and Muslims, remaining firm with pride and dignity.
