Raymah: Raymah governorate witnessed massive public rallies on Thursday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), under the slogan "Never shall we submit to humiliation."
According to Yemen News Agency, during the rally held in the governorate's capital, al-Jabin, and attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Hassan al-Amri, the Deputy Governor, Mohammed Murad, the Mobilization Officer, Mohammed al-Nahari, and executive, security, and mobilization leaders, participants chanted slogans expressing the tragedy of Karbala. They affirmed their adherence to the path of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and their steadfastness in supporting the causes of the nation.
The participants emphasized their readiness and preparedness to end the aggression and the blockade, committing to continue on the path of Hussein in confronting the American-Saudi-Zionist aggression and its mercenaries until victory is achieved. They highlighted that the Yemeni people are engaged in a decisive battle against the aggression coalition, drawing inspiration from Imam Hussein's example of jihad, sacrifice, and selflessness in defending the homeland, and learning lessons to strengthen the cohesion of the home front.
During the marches in the districts of Mazhar, Kusmah, al-Ja'fariyah, Bilad al-Ta'am, and As-Salafiyah, which were attended by several Shura Council members, local and mobilization leaders, and social figures, participants declared their complete readiness to implement the directives of the Leader in reclaiming the rights of the Yemeni people from the aggressor states.
Speeches delivered at the marches addressed the significance of commemorating Ashura and the tragedy of Karbala for the nation. The commemoration of Imam Hussein's martyrdom was considered a crucial step in reinforcing awareness of the targeting of Islam and its symbols throughout history. Speakers highlighted the battles waged by Imam Hussein and the Prophet's family against tyrants, in support of the oppressed, and in building the nation based on the values of truth and justice.
They pointed to the current state of the nation, characterized by betrayal of God's religion and a departure from the path of the Prophet and his family, embodied in projects that serve the forces of disbelief and tyranny. They emphasized that the gathering of the people of Raymah on this anniversary sends a message to the aggressor nations and their proxies about the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in confronting the enemies of the homeland and thwarting their conspiracies.
The people of Raymah reiterated their support for all options adopted by the leader of the revolution to secure the rights of the Yemeni people and recover their plundered wealth, expressing their solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples in confronting the Zionist-American aggression.
