Taiz: The city of Al-Hawban in Taiz Governorate witnessed a large mass rally this evening condemning the Saudi aggression aircraft's targeting of Sana'a International Airport and civilian facilities, as well as the resulting disruption of the arrival of a civilian aircraft carrying patients, stranded passengers, and travelers, in a continued manifestation of the blockade policy imposed on Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants, including a number of local officials, affirmed their outright rejection of the Saudi aggression, announcing their full authorization for the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to take all necessary options and deterrent decisions to secure the legitimate rights of the Yemeni people. They chanted slogans expressing popular unity and Yemenis' readiness to confront escalation.
A statement issued by the rally called on the armed forces to deliver a firm and swift response to put an end to the Saudi regime's actions, stressing that such a response represents a legitimate right in the face of continued procrastination and withdrawal from understandings signed under the auspices of the Sultanate of Oman, particularly those related to the humanitarian file, including the payment of state employees' salaries, lifting the blockade, and reconstruction.
The statement emphasized Sana'a's steadfast position under the equation of 'airport for airport and bank for bank,' warning that any new escalation would be met with decisive military and economic responses that would end the policy of starvation and the looting of sovereign resources.
It also described attempts by the aggression coalition to evade responsibility for targeting the airport as 'a sign of field incapacity and failure,' revealing clear concern over the anticipated Yemeni response.
The people of Taiz praised the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in breaking the air blockade and enabling flights to arrive despite threats, affirming that Yemen today is stronger than ever, capable of confronting the Saudi regime and ending its arrogance.
