Sana'a: Residents of Hodeida City held a mass rally Thursday evening to celebrate the success of the military operation dubbed 'Allah Is Stronger in Might and More Severe in Punishment,' carried out by the armed forces in several western coastal districts, and the expulsion of Saudi-backed mobilizations.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants raised national flags and banners expressing pride in the achievements of the armed forces during the operation, which began on September 3 with broad participation from local communities and tribes. The crowds congratulated Ansarullah leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the armed forces, and the Yemeni people on the reported victories, including the expulsion of Saudi-backed forces from the area and the recapture of large stretches of Yemen's coastline.
They reaffirmed support for the leadership's measures to safeguard national sovereignty and confront what they described as foreign-backed schemes, while praising the sacrifices of armed forces personnel in defending Yemen's freedom and independence. The demonstrators also welcomed the reported liberation of several prisoners from the prisons of Saudi-backed forces in the western coast.
A statement issued by the rally affirmed Hodeida residents' readiness to continue supporting the fronts with personnel, funds, and to maintain popular mobilization in support of the armed forces. It described the reported liberation of several western coastal districts, including Hays and Khokha, as a major victory, saying it would open the way for greater security, stability, and development in the region.
The statement called on Yemenis and tribes to maintain unity, vigilance, and support the armed forces in what it described as efforts to establish deterrence and defend national sovereignty.
