Massive Demonstrations in Ibb Support Gaza and Lebanon, Condemn Israeli Actions

Sana'a: The governorate of Ibb witnessed on Friday large-scale marches and rallies in the city center and across its districts, demonstrating steadfast Yemeni popular support for Gaza and Lebanon, and denouncing ongoing Israeli aggression.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants stated that the massive public turnout reflects the Yemeni people's awareness of the crucial issues facing the nation, particularly the Palestinian cause. The participants emphasized that these events represent a religious, humanitarian, and moral duty toward the Palestinian people, reinforcing solidarity with those subjected to siege and attacks.

In a statement, the participants condemned the Israeli crimes and violations against civilians in Gaza, the West Bank, and al-Quds. The statement criticized the silence of some Arab and Islamic states and international inaction, calling for continued popular and official efforts to stop the aggression and support Palestinian resilience.

It also stressed the importance of ongoing community mobilization and raising awareness about the dangers of U.S. and Israeli schemes targeting the nation, affirming Yemenis' steadfast commitment to their religious and national values in confronting these challenges. The participants called on people to engage with the educational lectures of Leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and support fighters on the frontlines while promoting social solidarity.

The rallies featured slogans and banners expressing full solidarity with Gaza and Lebanon, reaffirming Yemen's unwavering support for the causes of the Muslim Ummah and rejecting U.S. and Israeli hegemony.
