Dhale': The districts of Damt, al-Hasha, Qa'taba, and Juban in Dhale' governorate witnessed large public marches under the slogan 'Loyalty to the Martyrs. We Will Not Back Down in Supporting Gaza, Whatever the Sacrifices.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the marches in Damt were led by Acting Governor Abdullatif al-Shaghdari. Participants chanted slogans denouncing what they described as Israeli crimes in Gaza and affirmed pride in Yemen's faith-based and humanitarian stance supporting the Palestinian people.
Marchers stated that the blood of martyrs in Gaza and Yemen would remain a guiding beacon and would strengthen resolve against forces of aggression and global arrogance. They emphasized that Yemenis have long stood among free peoples in fulfilling religious and humanitarian duties toward Palestine.
A statement issued by march organizers reiterated calls to continue the struggle and support for the oppressed, and to maintain active participation in solidarity events until victory is achieved and occupation ends.
The statement characterized the marches as a practical response to what it called attempts-backed by the United States-to impose control over the region, and denounced the stance of some Arab regimes for remaining passive as Gaza suffers.
Organizers described participation in the mass marches as a religious duty and a demonstration of obedience to God, framing the mobilization as Yemen's 'greatest battle' in support of Al-Aqsa and the Palestinian cause. The statement affirmed solidarity with Hamas leaders who were, it said, subjected to treachery in Qatar, and with the Qatari people, rejecting violations of their sovereignty.
Addressing Gaza, the statement pledged: 'The Yemeni people will not abandon you, whatever the sacrifices; the outcome will be the promised victory and clear conquest.'
It warned that neglect would lead to humiliation and that history would judge accordingly. The statement further emphasized the unity of the Islamic nation, declaring that any aggression against one Muslim country is an attack on all.
The marches also praised recent military operations by the Yemeni armed forces against the Israeli entity, stating that while the battle is significant, reliance on God will bring results.
Organizers urged intensified efforts to develop military capabilities to deter what they described as threats from Israel and the United States.
