Al-hudaydah: Today, Al-Lawiyah Square in Al-Hudaydah province witnessed a massive popular festival for the residents of the districts of Ad Durayhimi, Al Mansuriyah, and the northern side of Beit al-Faqih, celebrating Yawm al-Wilayah under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."
According to Yemen News Agency, crowds flocked from various villages and sub-districts, affirming their pride in this religious occasion and their deeply rooted faith-based connection to Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
The speeches addressed the profound significance of Ghadir Day as the culmination of the completion of religion and the perfection of divine blessing, and as an extension of the guardianship of God and His Messenger. They affirmed that the event of Ghadir Khumm is a pivotal milestone in Islamic history, embodying the Greatest Messenger's keenness to convey the message to the nation.
They reviewed the historical connection of Yemenis to Imam Ali and their role in supporting the Muhammadan message, linking the courageous Yemeni stance in confronting "America, Israel, and Britain" to the faith-based upbringing derived from the school of Imam Ali in supporting the oppressed and confronting the arrogant.
They explained that the Yemeni people's rallying around the Leader of the Revolution is the fruit of adhering to the covenant of wilayah and the Quranic path, and that Yemen's stances in supporting Palestine and the axis of resistance are a living extension of Imam Ali's path. The participants renewed their pledge of loyalty to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the Leader of the Revolution. The festival featured poems, anthems, and folk dances from authentic Tihami heritage.
