Bayda: Large public marches were held on Friday across Bayda governorate, including the provincial center and districts, under the slogan 'In loyalty to the martyrs - we will not retreat in supporting Gaza, whatever the sacrifices.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the crowds, led by Shura Council member Abdullah al-Muzafari and provincial deputies Ali Shaikh, Nasser al-Wahbi, Abdurabbu al-Amri, Ahmed al-Saiql, Saleh al-Joufi, Nasser al-Aji, Central Security commander Maj. Gen. Ali al-Rasas, and other local, executive, military, security, and social leaders, denounced what they described as the ongoing extermination, starvation, and displacement of Gaza's population by the Israeli entity.
Protesters chanted slogans expressing pride in Yemen's faith-based and humanitarian stance in support of the Palestinian people, and voiced strong condemnation of the attack that targeted Yemen's prime minister, members of the government, civilian notables, and media outlets.
The protesters affirmed that any aggression against Yemen will not deter the Yemeni people from their religious, moral, and humanitarian support for Gaza and the defense of the nation's causes and sanctities, foremost among them the Palestinian cause and al-Aqsa.
The marches warned submissive regimes that collude with the Israeli enemy of the dire consequences of ignoring Zionist crimes, calling on Islamic peoples to mobilize and openly reject their governments' complacency in the face of the slaughter and famine afflicting Gaza's children and residents.
A statement issued by the rallies reaffirmed Yemenis' steadfastness in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people and their determination to remain united in solidarity regardless of the scale of Israeli crimes.
The statement said that the sacrifices made by officials and citizens alike are for the sake of Allah, in obedience and as part of a jihadi duty to defend faith, life, land, and the nation.
The statement added that Zionist crimes would not weaken Yemeni resolve but would instead strengthen it, reaffirming Yemen's rejection of recognition or normalization with the Israeli enemy and its steadfast support for the Palestinian people.
It also underlined Yemenis' attachment to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) on the occasion of his birth anniversary, and their commitment to his teachings amid what the statement described as unprecedented trials and divisions facing the Islamic Ummah.
The rallies praised the recent military operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces, saying they had inflicted disarray and significant losses on the enemy, and called for intensified efforts to enhance and escalate military capabilities to deter Israel and the United States.
The statement renewed solidarity with the leaders of the Islamic Resistance in Hamas, who the statement said were subjected to treachery in Qatar, and with the Qatari people, condemning violations of their rights and sovereignty.
It concluded by rejecting division and sedition imposed by enemies, affirming that Yemenis consider themselves part of a single Ummah and vowing to continue the path of jihad, steadfastness, and resistance against oppressors and the arrogant.
