Hajjah: Hajjah province witnessed large mass rallies Friday to commemorate International Quds Day, expressing support for the Palestinian people and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants chanted slogans such as: 'The last Friday of Ramadan. the Day of Al-Quds,' 'Al-Quds is our foremost cause. we will reach it as a fulfilled promise,' 'The people of wisdom and faith. the Day of Al-Quds has its title,' 'Al-Aqsa, blessed by Allah. let the Allah enemies be expelled.'
They also chanted: 'We will never abandon our Al-Aqsa, even if all disbelief challenges us,' and 'Yemen of wisdom with Iran, and Iraq of glory and Lebanon,' reaffirming their continued support for the Palestinian cause, the sacred sites of the Muslim nation, and their commitment to the path of resistance.
The crowds, led by the province's governor Hilal Al-Sufi, Secretary-General of the Local Council Ismail Al-Muhaim, and Mobilization Official Hamoud Al-Maghribi, raised the slogan of disavowal of the United States and Israel.
Participants renewed their pledge of loyalty to Al-Quds, their support for the Palestinian people, their just cause until the liberation of all occupied Palestinian lands and the establishment of an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital. They also affirmed their readiness to continue mobilization, jihad, and to respond to any developments or decisions taken by the revolutionary leadership in confronting global arrogance and its agents.
Residents of Hajjah stressed the steadfastness of their principled stance in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance, expressing readiness to join what they described as the 'sacred battle of the nation' alongside the fighters of the resistance axis until victory is achieved.
A statement issued during the rallies affirmed that the mass mobilization commemorating International Quds Day, declared by Imam Ruhollah Khomeini on the last Friday of Ramadan, is part of a religious and struggle-based movement seeking the pleasure of God.
The statement said this year's commemoration comes at a sensitive and exceptional stage in the history of the conflict with what it described as global Zionism and its allies, represented by the United States, Israel, and their supporters.
It added that the occasion coincides with what it described as U.S.-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, continued Israeli actions in Gaza and the West Bank, violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as attacks on Lebanon and interventions in Syria.
The statement also referred to what it described as the resilience and counter-attacks carried out by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the Iranian army, Hezbollah, armed factions in Iraq against Israel and its allies.
It reaffirmed that commemorating International Quds Day is part of a broader movement aimed at supporting Palestine and opposing Israeli policies, while renewing Yemen's solidarity with Iran, Lebanon, and other groups confronting Israel.
