Sana'a: The governorate of Ibb witnessed on Friday massive public rallies at Al-Rasool Al-Azam Square in the city center and across various district squares in commemoration of Al-Quds International Day.

According to Yemen News Agency, the marches in the central square were led by Governor Abdulwahid Salah, alongside several members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, deputy governors, the head of mobilization, and large crowds of the governorate's residents, who gathered to express their firm, unwavering support for Palestine and its just cause.

Participants emphasized that Al-Quds International Day serves as an annual occasion to renew the pledge to the Palestinian cause and to raise awareness of the nation's responsibility toward Al-Quds and its holy sites. They highlighted that commemorating Al-Quds Day on the last Friday of Ramadan reflects the growing public awareness of the Palestinian cause as the central issue of the Muslim nation.

They expressed their categorical rejection of the Zionist occupation's plans to impose a new colonial reality in Palestine and the region. They affirmed that the massive rallies in Ibb and other free governorates reflect the Yemeni people's principled and steadfast position in supporting the Palestinian people and their heroic resistance, while also confirming that Al-Quds will remain a living cause in the nation's conscience regardless of the length of the occupation.

The people of Ibb considered the wide participation in the rallies a clear message that free nations will not abandon their religious, humanitarian responsibilities toward Palestine and will continue supporting all legitimate forms of struggle to liberate the land and its sacred sites.

They pointed out that Al-Quds International Day is an occasion to unite the nation's ranks and raise awareness of the threats posed by the Zionist project, which targets the nation and its holy sites, calling for continued popular and official action to support the Palestinian cause until full liberation is achieved.

The crowds reaffirmed that Al-Quds remains the true compass of the nation's issues and that standing with the Palestinian people is a religious, moral, and human duty that cannot be abandoned, regardless of the challenges and conspiracies targeting the nation.

They strongly condemned the treacherous US-Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and Lebanon, asserting that this aggression constitutes a dangerous escalation targeting the Muslim nation and revealing the nature of the US-Zionist project in the region.

They confirmed that targeting Iran and Lebanon is part of efforts to weaken the resistance axis supporting Palestine, stressing that such assaults will not deter free nations from maintaining their firm stance against domination and aggression.

A statement issued by the rallies addressed the Arab and Islamic nations and the world at large, declaring: 'Commemorating Al-Quds International Day is part of our jihadist mobilization, which we seek Allah's pleasure through, particularly in these blessed days. This day has been observed for years-by Allah's grace-with distinction and uniqueness, as a testament to our adherence to the path of truth, the way of the Qur'an, jihad, and loyalty to Allah, His Messenger, and the righteous heirs of the Book.'

The statement highlighted that today's massive marches are part of jihad in the way of Allah and in pursuit of His pleasure, commemorating the day designated by Imam Ruhollah Khomeini on the last Friday of Ramadan.

It noted that this year's occasion comes at a sensitive and exceptional stage in the conflict with the global Zionist tyranny, represented by America, Israel, their Western allies, and their regional tools.

The statement also pointed out that the occasion coincides with brutal US-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, an assault targeting the entire Muslim nation as part of their 'Greater Israel' project threatening the region. It also referenced ongoing crimes by the enemy in Gaza and the West Bank, violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and attacks on Lebanon and Syria.

Conversely, the occasion also coincides with the steadfastness and resilience of the enemy's opponents, including the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the Iranian army, Hezbollah, and jihadist factions in Iraq, delivering crushing blows to the occupiers.

The statement renewed the pledge to respond to Allah's call in accordance with His great guidance in the Qur'an, affirming that Yemen will continue its jihad in the way of Allah and uphold the banner of Islam until Allah's religion prevails, justice spreads across the world, and the oppressed, including the people of Palestine and all those suffering under Zionist and allied tyranny, are supported.

It asserted that the Yemeni people will not abandon or retreat from confronting their enemies in all fields of struggle until the land is cleansed of their oppression, Allah's promise is fulfilled, His light shines, and His mercy and rule prevail.

The statement reaffirmed Yemen's full support for the Islamic Republic of Iran-its leadership, people, army, and Revolutionary Guard-expressing pride in their steadfastness and decisive strikes that left the enemy bewildered and defeated.

The same stance was emphasized toward Lebanon and the heroic Hezbollah, who brought the enemy back to square one after it thought it had won in the previous round, demonstrating unyielding determination, unwavering steadfastness, and unparalleled trust in Allah, plunging the enemy into an uncertain fate. The statement also noted the same regarding the heroes in Iraq defending their nation and fulfilling their jihadist duties against occupying forces.

The rallies' statement called upon the nations of the Muslim world to commemorate Al-Quds International Day, to take action, fulfill their responsibilities, and above all, return to the Qur'an as a practical guide for identifying problems, distinguishing friend from foe, and finding solutions and strategies for victory and salvation in this life and the next.

It urged reflection on current events, emphasizing the urgent need to return to the Qur'an, noting that other solutions have completely failed, as evidenced by reality.

The crowds prayed to Allah to grant victory to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its fighters, and its system; to support jihadists in Lebanon, Iraq, and across the resistance axis; to hasten relief and victory for the Palestinian people and the entire Muslim nation; to grant victory, mercy, and healing, and to free prisoners. Indeed, He is All-Hearing, Responsive to Prayer.
