Massive Rallies in Marib on International Quds Day Occasion

General

Marib: Marib Governorate witnessed on Friday massive rallies on the occasion of International Quds Day under the slogan, 'Al-Quds is the Covenant of Allah.' The residents of the southern districts of Marib participated in two marches at Al-Jawbah and Qaniyah squares, affirming that commemorating International Quds Day is part of the jihadist movement to support Al-Aqsa Mosque, the holy sites, and that the Palestinian cause is the central issue for all Muslims.

According to Yemen News Agency, the people of Sirwah district gathered in a large march attended by Marib Governor Ali Ta'iman, where they expressed solidarity with their brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon, praising their steadfastness in confronting the enemies of Allah and inflicting heavy losses upon them. In their march, the residents of Harib Al-Qaramish district called on all nations of the Muslim Ummah to awaken spiritually and take serious action to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is being desecrated by Zionist gangs.

The residents of the northern districts organized a march at Majzar Square, highlighting their high readiness to confront enemies and implement the measures set forth by the Revolution Leader to support the mujahideen in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran, to deter the forces of aggression and arrogance. The people of Badbadah district also took part in a large march, reaffirming Yemen's steadfast position in defending the causes and holy sites of the Ummah, and continuing the path of dignity, honor, jihad, and resistance against the forces of global arrogance.

A statement issued by the marches noted that commemorating this day, declared by Imam Khomeini on the last Friday of Ramadan, comes this year at a sensitive and exceptional stage in the struggle against the tyrant of the age, 'global Zionism,' through its arms represented by the United States, Israel, and their followers among the Western infidel regimes and their tools in the region. The statement also highlighted that this occasion coincides with a brutal US-Israeli aggression targeting the brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran, an attack that affects the entire Islamic Ummah as part of the 'Greater Israel' project threatening the region, in addition to the ongoing crimes committed by the enemy in Gaza and the West Bank, violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the seizure of Lebanese and Syrian lands.

The Marib rallies' statement emphasized that commemorating Quds Day is part of the jihadist movement and seeking the pleasure of Allah during these blessed days, demonstrating adherence to the path of the Qur'an, jihad, and loyalty to Allah, His Messenger, the heirs of the Book, and the symbols of religion. The statement renewed the pledge to act in accordance with Allah's guidance and affirmed that the Yemeni people will not abandon jihad and raising the banner of Islam until Allah's religion prevails and justice spreads, and that they will not forsake Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestine and its oppressed people, or all the weak on earth at the hands of the followers of Satan.

It affirmed the refusal to retreat in confronting global Zionism and its arms in all arenas of struggle until Allah's inevitable promise is fulfilled, His light appears, His religion prevails, His mercy spreads, and His great book dominates. The statement reaffirmed solidarity with the brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the brothers in Lebanon, and Hezbollah, who have shown unwavering determination, steadfastness, returning the enemy to square one and trapping them in a spiral of an uncertain fate. This is the same stance with the heroic mujahideen in Iraq, who fulfill their duty of jihad and strike the American occupiers in their countries and the region as a legitimate and necessary defense of themselves and their Ummah.

Finally, it called on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations to act responsibly by returning to the Qur'an as a practical project that identifies the problem, distinguishes between enemy and friend, and provides guidance for action.
