Al-safiya: Mawlid celebrations were held on Sunday in Al-Safiya District of the Capital Secretariat to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad, the guide and mercy sent to all mankind, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Residents of Abu Hurairah in Al-Tadamun neighborhood, Al-Da'wah in Al-Fath neighborhood, and Al-Shab Northern neighborhood in Al-Thawra organized the celebrations to express their love, reverence, and pride in the Prophet Muhammad.
According to Yemen News Agency, the events were attended by Capital Secretariat Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs Mohammed Saree, Finance Office Director Dr. Mohammed Al-Junaid, Deputy District Mobilization Official Hashed Al-Sultan, along with executive officials, dignitaries, and social figures. The celebrations featured speeches and cultural activities.
Saree and Al-Junaid praised the widespread community participation, describing it as an expression of Yemenis' strong attachment to and emulation of the Prophet as a leader, prophet, and guide, and their commitment to his path and to supporting the nation's causes and sanctities, foremost among them Palestine. They called for broad participation in the central Mawlid celebration on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal, honoring the best of Allah's creation, the guide and leader of the nation.
