Ibb: The Yemeni Oil Company and the Yemeni Gas Company branches in Ibb Governorate organized a speech event to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Deputy Governor for the Economy, Oil, and Gas Sector, Qasim Al-Masawi, discussed the significance of Mawlid al-Nabawi, highlighting the deep connection of the Yemeni people to the Prophet Muhammad and their pride in his teachings. He emphasized the historical role of Yemenis in supporting and spreading Islam globally, stating that commemorating the occasion reaffirms adherence to the Prophet's values and principles, while enhancing awareness of national responsibilities.
Al-Masawi also condemned ongoing offenses against Islamic sanctities, citing crimes against civilians in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran as acts of hostility towards Islam and Muslims. He pointed out the importance of supporting the armed forces in defending the homeland's security and sovereignty, urging those misled to reconsider their positions and abandon proxy wars that serve foreign interests.
The event included a poem and religious musical performances in praise of the Prophet Muhammad.
