Amran: The Amran Office of Economy and Industry, alongside the Amran Cement Plant, Central Emergency Intervention Unit, and branches of the Standards, Metrology and Quality Control Authority, and the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority, organized a commemorative event on Wednesday to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. The event brought together key figures from various sectors to reflect on the Prophet's teachings and their relevance to modern societal values.
According to Yemen News Agency, Acting Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment Sam Al-Bashiri emphasized the spiritual and cultural significance of the occasion. He urged participants to view the celebration as more than just a ceremonial gathering, but as a chance to integrate the Prophet's teachings into daily life, promoting justice, compassion, solidarity, brotherhood, and cooperation.
Al-Bashiri, in the presence of Amran Governor Dr. Faisal Jamaan, Chairman of the General Corporation for Cement Manufacturing and Marketing Yahya Ateefah, and Standards Authority Executive Director Abdullah Al-Atifi, highlighted the Prophet's life as an exemplary model of leadership and dedication. He called for a commitment to the principles of sincerity and a strong work ethic to build a unified society capable of overcoming challenges.
Furthermore, Al-Bashiri stressed the importance of improving institutional performance and fostering a sense of responsibility among employees. He linked these values with the broader goals of enhancing economic, industrial, mining, standards, and quality sectors to support national development and the economy.
In addition, Amran District Director Aqeel Al-Sharif and Deputy Director of the Cement Plant Mohammed Al-Suraimi reiterated the crucial role of economic and industrial institutions in fostering development and improving services. They emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birth anniversary serves as a source of strength and determination, particularly under current challenging circumstances.
