Mubin: The Mawlid football championship kicked off on Sunday in Mubin District, Hajjah Governorate, as part of celebrations marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament is organized by the district's Youth and Sports Office branch under the supervision of the governorate's Youth and Sports Office. The championship features eight teams divided into two groups.
In the opening match of Group A, Al-Shabab emerged victorious against Al-Ittihad with a scoreline of 6-4.
