Sana'a: The local authority, in coordination with the education sector in Nehm district of Sana'a governorate, organized a speech event on Sunday to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). At the event, attended by Shura Council member Mujahid al-Nuaimi, Sana'a undersecretary Hamid Asim emphasized the significance of this occasion in strengthening the connection of the Ummah with the Prophet and following his example.
According to Yemen News Agency, Asim reviewed the conditions of the Ummah before the Prophet's mission and highlighted how the Prophet elevated its status among nations. He emphasized key aspects of the Prophet's life, spiritual journey, and struggle, and called for active participation in the central event on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal to express love and reverence for the Prophet.
The event was attended by various officials, including Executive Unit directors Mohammed Makram and Abdulwali Sarhan, Northern Sector Association Chairman Fayez Sarea, mobilization officials Muzaffar Muzaffar, and education sector official Hizam al-Nuaimi. Saleh Mabkhout, Deputy Principal of Al-Fawz School, highlighted the importance of this religious occasion in renewing the practical bond with the Prophet. He noted that commemorating the Prophet's birthday signifies joy over the birth of the one sent by God as a source of guidance and mercy for humanity.
