Sanaa:The Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, conducted an inspection of the rehabilitation and restoration project for Street 16, located in the Al-Fawaris neighborhood of the Azal District. The project is funded locally with a total cost of 80 million Yemeni Rials.
According to Yemen News Agency, Mayor Abbad assessed the ongoing work on the street, which provides access to the "Forty-Meter Street" (Shari' al-Arba'in). Currently, 20 percent of the project has been completed. The restoration is being executed by the Executive Unit for the Construction and Maintenance of Roads and Public Spaces in the Capital Municipality.
