Mechanisms for Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Saada Reviewed

Saada: A meeting at the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Saada governorate today, chaired by Governor Mohammed Awad, discussed the fund's mechanisms of work and ways to improve its services. The meeting included prominent figures such as Ansar Allah Political Bureau member Dhaifallah Al Shami, the Secretary General of the local council of the governorate Mohammed Al Ammad, deputy governors, the Executive Director of the Fund Najeeb Al Saadi, and board members.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed the results of the report from the technical committee concerning the treatment of the central landfill and the establishment of waste landfills in the districts of Qa' al Sa'eed. Discussions also covered the procedures for disbursing funds for the landfill in Razeh district and initiating a public auction to sell the fund's damaged equipment to finance the purchase of waste recycling machines.

Governor Awad praised the efforts of cleaning and improvement workers, emphasizing that the governorate has witnessed noticeable development in improvement works compared to previous periods. He stressed the importance of ongoing maintenance of cleaning equipment and machinery, urging enhanced follow-up and supervision of cleaning operations, including waste removal from streets and improving the fund's performance across various domains.

The Director of the Cleaning Fund presented an overview of the fund's activities, work mechanisms, and the challenges it faces, particularly in waste transport from the city center. He called for collective support to bolster the fund's efforts in overcoming these obstacles.
