Medical Team from Al-Thawra Hospital Extends Support in Al-Khokha

Hodeidah: An integrated medical team from Al-Thawra General Hospital in Hodeidah Governorate continues to provide medical and healthcare services to residents of Al-Khokha District following the district's liberation, the restoration of security and stability, as part of efforts to support healthcare services for residents and neighboring areas.

According to Yemen News Agency, the team provides medical, therapeutic, and surgical services at the district hospital, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and medical care, as well as ambulance services and emergency response to support patients and the wounded and meet their medical needs.

Al-Thawra Hospital Chairman Dr. Khaled Suhail stated that the team continues its work in Al-Khokha as part of an integrated health plan aimed at providing medical care, strengthening the readiness of health facilities, emergency teams, and ensuring an effective response to various cases.

The deployment of the team follows directives from the Ministry of Health and Hodeidah local authorities to strengthen healthcare services in liberated districts and areas and bring medical care closer to citizens.

Dr. Suhail described the team's continued work in Al-Khokha as a practical expression of the hospital's humanitarian and professional responsibility, its commitment to supporting the district's health sector, and ensuring continued healthcare delivery.

He emphasized that emergency, ambulance, and medical care services remain a priority, with efforts underway to strengthen medical, nursing, and technical staffing, improve the quality and speed of response to medical and emergency cases.

Dr. Suhail also commended the medical and health personnel for their efforts in caring for patients, receiving cases, providing emergency services, and praised the cooperation and coordination between the hospital, the district health office, and relevant authorities.
