Meeting at Ministry of Oil Reviews Key “BOT” Document for Electricity Ministry

Sana'a: A meeting held today in Sana'a, chaired by the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, discussed the "BOT" document for the Ministry of Electricity, Energy, and Water, prior to completing procedures for submitting it to the Ministry of Electricity.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included the Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals, Mohammed Al-Najjar, the Deputy Executive Director for Financial and Administrative Affairs of the Yemen Oil Company, Osama Al-Khatib, and specialists from the ministry and the company. They reviewed the content and substance of the document.

Various technical, administrative, and financial aspects related to the document were also discussed to ensure its alignment with the strategic objectives of both the oil and electricity sectors, aiming to enhance partnership in accordance with applicable regulations and laws.

Participants reviewed the observations and proposals related to the document's content and implementation mechanisms. It was agreed to complete the inclusion of necessary technical observations and conduct a final review of the document before submitting it to the Ministry of Electricity to complete the established procedures.
