Meeting Chaired by Miftah Sparks Progress for Al-Bayda University

Al-bayda: The Board of Trustees of Al-Bayda University convened today under the leadership of Acting Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah. The meeting focused on strategies to enhance the university’s role in advancing human development and higher education.



According to Yemen News Agency, University President Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami presented a comprehensive report on the university’s performance and its ongoing development projects. The report highlighted various academic and infrastructure initiatives, including the Arabic Language Protection Law project, the Scientific Competency Test project, and the integration of artificial intelligence in educational frameworks. Additionally, the board discussed regulations for organizing scientific conferences.



One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the approval for establishing the university’s teaching hospital. The Board of Trustees directed the initiation of a feasibility study, alongside technical and structural designs for the new facility.



The meeting acknowledged the university’s commendable performance and the outcomes of its scientific conferences, emphasizing the importance of the projects that resulted from these recommendations. Scholar Miftah praised the proactive role of the Board of Trustees in facilitating the university’s development and expansion to align with the evolving needs of the job market.



Miftah also highlighted the strong partnerships between the university, local authorities, and the community, which collectively serve as a model for educational and academic collaboration. He further commended the university’s contributions to educational awareness, community engagement, and its support for the Palestinian cause, expressing hope for the continued success of the Board of Trustees in advancing the university’s mission.
